Departure for San Sosti and guided visit to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Pettoruto, the protagonist of the natural and spiritual landscape of San Sosti, which houses a Madonna carved into the tuff, at 600 meters above sea level on the slopes of Montea. this is a renowned pilgrimage site and destination for a large number of believers from all over Southern Italy. Departure for Paola for a guided visit to the Sanctuary of San Francesco with the possibility of attending daily religious celebration. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, with its succession of churches, ancient buildings, characteristic alleys and breathtaking views. Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Departure for Rossano and guided tour of the Sanctuaries of Santa Maria del Patire, one of the most beautiful examples of sacred architecture in Calabria, and Santa Maria Achiropita, Rossano’s main place of worship and architectural monument. Visit the Diocesan Museum, which houses the renowned Codex Purpureus, considered the most important example of an illuminated Greek codex in the world, and was certainly composed in the Middle East, in Antioch of Syria or Caesarea of Palestine. It derives its name from the fact that it is written on a thin purple parchment. The precious document contains a series of miniatures illustrating some of the most significant moments in the life and preaching of Jesus. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour of Corigliano Calabro with its renowned Feudal Castle. Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast. Departure for Badolato. Visit the characteristic village and the Sanctuary of Maria Santissima della Sanità and the Church of the Immacolata. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, departure for Serra San Bruno. Visit the Charterhouse (only external part), its Museum and the charming park. Surrounded by centuries-old beech and silver fir trees, the Charterhouse is the first Carthusian monastery in Italy. Not far from the Carthusian Monastery, immersed in an evocative landscape dominated by green woods, there is the “lake of miracles” in whose waters, according to tradition, San Bruno went in penance. In the afternoon, visit to the charming and characteristic Church of Piedigrotta, carved into the tuff, unique in its kind. Continue to Tropea, walk through the historical centre and visit the Sanctuary of S. Maria dell’Isola. Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Departure for Stilo. Lunch in a local restaurant. Visit the village, the Monastery of the Clarisse and the Cattolica, a jewel of Byzantine art. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Departure for the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Polsi, or Madonna della Montagna, in the municipality of San Luca, one of the most mystical and evocative places in Calabria from a religious point of view and one of the most famous Marian centres in the south. Departure for Gerace. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to the village, one of the most beautiful in Italy, with its ancient Norman Cathedral, the Church of San Francesco with its sumptuous 17th century high altar in inlaid polychrome marble, which is one of the highest documents of Calabrian baroque, the characteristic streets full of art, history and architecture.
