Arrival in Catania and accommodation in Hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, optional excursion in the beautiful historical centre of Catania with Piazza Duomo, the Statue of the Elephant, the Cathedral, the Via Etnea and the baroque Via dei Crociferi, the Roman amphitheatre and the Ursino Castle. Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure for excursion on Etna walking along the Silvestri Craters. Lunch in a restaurant with typical products of Etna cuisine. After lunch, we will stop in Zafferana Etnea to taste the “Etna honey”. Continuation to Taormina, the “pearl of the Ionian Sea” with a visit to the Greek-Roman Theatre and free time available Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the Hotel. In the morning, visit the city of Syracuse, the most beautiful and largest Greek colony in Sicily. You will visit the Archaeological Park with the Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Ear of Dionysius and the Latomie. Transfer to Ortigia, with the famous Arethusa Fountain, the Cathedral, the Temple of Apollo. Free lunch. In the afternoon, departure for Noto, a splendid baroque center.. Arrival in Ragusa. Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure for a guided tour of the ancient Ibla, the historic center of Ragusa rich in architectural treasures and made famous by the TV drama “Il commissario Montalbano”. You will see: the San Giorgio’s Cathedral, the portal of San Giorgio, the Zacco Palace, the Iblei Gardens. Stop at Montalbano’s house in Puntasecca. Free lunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Agrigento and visit the Valley of the Temples, where you can admire the remains of the Temples of Concordia, Juno Lacinia, Hercules, Dioscuri, Olympic Jupiter. Accommodation in Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of the Archaeological Park of Selinunte. Continuation to Trapani along the route of the “salt road”, where you will admire the incredible landscape of the salt pans, still in use for the extraction of salt, scattered with characteristic windmills. Continue to Marsala. Guided tour of the historic centre and wine tasting at a renowned winery. Free lunch. In the afternoon, visit Erice, where you can admire the remains of the Castle of Venus and a spectacular view of the salt pans of Trapani. Tasting of traditional sweets. Arrival in Palermo, Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of Palermo with the splendid Cathedral and the famous Palatine Chapel, inside the Norman Palace. Visit the monastic complex of Monreale: the splendid Cathedral and the Cloister, a splendid testimony of Arab-Norman art and Byzantine tradition. Tasting of traditional street food. Return to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Guided tour of Cefalù, the picturesque seaside town that houses one of the most beautiful churches of the Norman period. Free lunch. In the afternoon, continuation to visit the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina, whose mosaics are a precious testimony of the artistic and costume of the Roman imperial age. Arrival in Catania and accommodation in Hotel. Free dinner and overnight stay.
